Tunnel Carpal Syndrome is a problem that hits people who do repetitive hand motions like typing at a keyboard. It can include pain in the wrist or hand, numbness or (with me) a stiffness in typing. One way to prevent it is to reduce the bending at the wrist that occurs when you put your palm on the desktop and type at the keyboard. Commercial products that elevate the palm sell for $10 to $20.
